Library Cards
Applications are available at the circulation desk of the library.
- Adults will need to bring a valid Texas driver's license.
- A parent or guardian must sign applications for children & provide a valid Texas driver's license.
- The cost of a library card is:
- Inside the Bullard city limits and receive a Bullard Water Bill: No charge (per year)
- Inside/Outside the city limits and do not receive a Bullard Water Bill: $5.00 (per year)
- You need a library card to checkout materials, use the computers, and Wi-Fi. You may use the computers and Wi-Fi as a guest one time.
Our Collection Includes:
- A large selection of Fiction and Non-Fiction print books and e-books for children, youth, and adults.
- ·Audio books for all ages.
- DVDs and Blu-rays for Children, Youth, and Adults.
- Libby eBooks
Policies:
- ·Check-out period is 14-days for all items.
- Renewals allowed on all materials, unless item is placed on reserve.
- May call the library to renew library media (books, movies, audio books).
- Books: .20 cents per day
- DVDs: .50 cents per day
- Missing DVD dust covers: $5.00

- Copies & Printed Pages: (Copies: Letter and Legal sizes; Printing from Computers: letter size only)
- Black and White: $.20 cents per page (one and/or two sided)
- Color: $1.00 per page*
- Fax: $1 per page faxed (Cover page not charged)
- Notary: $5.00 per signature (cash) *Our Notary is available from 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM Tuesday and Wednesdays.
- Credit and Debit Cards accepted for money transactions with the following fees:
- $1.00-$5.00: $.25
- $5.01-$10.00: $.50
- $10.01-$15.00: $.75
- $15.01-$30.00: $1.00
- $30.01 & UP: $2.00

- Free Wi-Fi for library members (personal phone, tablet, or laptop)
- Electronic Catalog (Online Public Access Catalog)
- Educational games for children
- Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.

- Library media in good to excellent condition
- Hardcover and paperback books
- Commercially published electronic media (ex: CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays)
- Popular magazines
- Board games and puzzles (complete with all pieces)
We will not accept:
- Damaged books and media (e.g., broken bindings, missing pages or covers, soiled, musty or moldy, excessive writing in the text, smoke or water damage, excessively scratched electronic media
- Academic or Professional Journal
- Encyclopedias
- Video cassettes or audio cassettes
- Non-commercially produced media (CD-R, DVD-R, self recorded)
- Workbooks or study guides
- Old computer software
