Friends of the Bullard Library are a group of volunteers dedicated to the support of Bullard Community Library through both educational programs and fund-raising efforts. The primary fund-raising projects planned by the Friends are the annual Golf Tournament at Eagle's Bluff in November, the annual Christmas Bake Sale, and the used book sales. They also assist with landscaping for the library, recycling projects at the library, children's Summer Reading Club, and elsewhere as needed by the Library. The Friends of Bullard Community Library meet monthly on the third Tuesday of the month, or more frequently as events require. The meetings begin at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Bullard. All interested persons are invited. Please call Andie Rathbone 903-894-7950 or Jane Purtle 903-894-9338 for more information.
